Whilst working as in-house Counsel at Bord Na Móna plc, Andrea managed several renewable energy funding projects including one for €1.6 billion. She oversaw European and state funded projects for climate action grant schemes – including the largest one in the country relating to carbon sequestration.

Andrea has completed numerous complex property transactions (sale and acquisition) and has particular experience with environmental and planning / zonal issues. She previously worked for Coillte (the largest landowner in Ireland) and managed their litigation matters. Andrea has also advised the management board at Cintra, Ferrovial and DIF; all shareholders in the company that successfully tendered to build the Eurolink (M3) and (M4) Motorways. This included oversight of collateral construction waivers and PPP agreements.

She represents clients from the sports, media, arts and entertainment sectors. She was the Legal Manager for the Football Association of Ireland (and League of Ireland). Andrea drafted various regulations and successfully assisted with defending High Court proceedings seeking injunctive relief. She has a keen interest in football funding and licensing.
